For the last 16 years Willy Ray's Bar-B-Q. has been getting the job done. Willy Ray's has created a new look in the barbeque industry and a new way of serving side dishes. All of our side dishes are made from scratch. The normal selection of "3" side dishes of baked beans, cole slaw, and potato salad have been increased to an average of 13.
To mention just a few of our very own concoctions, you have got to try the carrot soufflé, pinto beans, turnip greens, and more. We care enough to make our potato salad from scratch!

Great Service! I had the two meat plate sausage and brisket pintos and potato salad. The sausage had great flavor. Brisket was moist and smokey good flavor. Owner came by and introduced himself. Reccomended in Beaumont!!

After 10 days traveling across Texas we decided to stop in Beaumont for one last BBQ dinner before heading to Louisiana, and I'm glad we did.
Willy Ray's was fantastic, and a true authentic Texas experience to leave on.
Trust me, fancy it ain't - but probably the best BBQ we'd had in the state. And I have to say that we had so much BBQ in Texas, I was at the point of not wanting any more any time soon.
But Willy Ray's was different. First of all they were friendly, real friendly. Not like a waitress earning minimum wage and tips is friendly 'cause she wants to get back to the trailer and her three kids - no this was genuine friendly from people who obviously "ran the place". All of them. From the manager to the bus boy. Every one of them talked to us, and did so genuinely.
Then there was the food. Forget the beef. I don't read Texas Monthly magazine, and I'm not enough of a BBQ connoisseur to be able to say if it is Top 50 in Texas or not. What I do know is that it was good.
But not as good as the Venison sausages and the carrot souffle - Both of which were amazing. Order them, trust me, you're going to like them.
