The Red Wagon Cafe is conveniently located on the east bound IH 10 service road in Vidor, just a short 5 minute drive from downtown Beaumont. In less time than it takes to navigate 2 red lights on Dowlen Road, you can be enjoying a breakfast, lunch or dinner that is definitly worth the drive. Inside the Red Wagon Cafe, diners are greeted by a friendly staff as they contemplate home-cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Numerous booths and dinette sets lay the stage for a hearty breakfast, try the "Rustler", a 3 egg cheese omelet served with toast ($4.79), or their signature "Trail Blazer", a 5 egg omelet stuffed with cheese, sausage, ham, bacon, and cubed home fries, served with toast ($8.95). Lunch eaters enjoy a daily lunch buffet, served 7 days a week from 11am to 2pm, buffet includes salad, dessert, tea or coffee (adults $7.95, seniors $6.95 and children $5.95). Night-eaters can sink their nighty teeth into the hand breaded chicken fried steak ($8.95) or the famous "Wagon-ater, a double meat, double cheese burger, topped with chicken fried bacon, mayo or mustard, lettuce, tomatoe, pickles, onions and jalapeno peppers, served with fries ($7.95). There are also salads, sandwiches, and a childs menu. Just save room for dessert.

If you want good home cookin, you came to the right wagon. their buffet is really good, I have not had one thing yet to complain about. Heck, we even had mexican food today, it was a gut pleaser. They have the best waitstaff you can ask for, especially the one that has a laugh with you all the time, she is a sweet heart.. Oh well, if you don't like the buffet then grab a menu....Its all good. – Tony E.
It's a country cafe; don't expect gourmet food. DO expect juicy burgers, tender chicken fried steak, delicious breakfast offerings, sweet southern iced tea and a laid back friendly staff. I have no complaints about Red Wagon. – Mrs. S.
